Yellowed and open in the blacks, like a print left in the sun. Midday windows, days spent doing nothing.
Blue lingers in the shadows while highlights wash out. Water, overcast noons, the end of summer.
Colour gone, grain left coarse. Dim rooms, rainy streets, moments with fewer words.
Pink settles into the highlights, shadows open up. Faces, flowers, anything you want to keep looking at.
Everything pushed down except the red. Very dark rooms, a place with a single lamp.
Almost all colour drained, leaving the yellow of aged paper. For pictures meant to be kept.
Green-tinted shadows and heavy grain, like an old videotape. Neon streets, small bars, mixed light.
